I cut out milk consumption for the initial paleo challenge, and I noticed that when I cut out milk that my swelling in my right knee disappeared. Coincidence? I think not. I am going to continue to abstain from milk unless I cheat and have some good chocolate milk once in a while. I found this interesting blog on milk consumption. I enjoy the points that were made on the topic concerning large protein and caloric requirements. Enjoy.
Don't cry over spilled milk
As a large male, I'm definitely going to take advice on large protein requirements from a fucking 100lb girl who thinks eating a lot is probably getting a portion of lean protein that is not just palm-sized, but 110% palm-sized ZOMGGGS.
ReplyDelete"Just eat moar meatz" is oft spouted by those who have no fucking idea what it's like to eat 2-3lbs of meat a day... not just one time evar, like you did once when you visited Grandma Sally's and she made ham pie and you ate sooo much (lulz-ercoaster), but every fucking day of your life. FWIW I do eat that much meat about 3-4x/week. Telling me oh noes teh shakez is bad on the other days is just trolling. At least you realize this and are now taking advice from a blog called paleochickswithdicks... oh wait, that's my future blog [logs onto godaddy].
/rant about eating 350g protein/day like I do every day and other people do... never, but are somehow experts at doing so.
BOOM that is how you rant, bitches!
Her advice to get more calories is to eat more fats (fat macros imo) instead of eating something with good macros... uhh like milk. Jesus fucking christ.
ReplyDeleteDay, check out Kalona super natural at WF. There chocolate milk is the best chocolate milk I've ever had in my life, nice and creamy but not as thick as the other grass-fed one we purchase that comes in a glass bottle. It's grass-fed, gluten free, etc etc etc etc etc and etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks DT for pointing this one out to me.
Doogie, I am getting bored on paleo.
