I push my fingers into my eyes!

Cori re-measured me this morning and the results are.......drum roll.........................


Excuse the dramatics but I am a big fan of Clark Griswold. 

My first measurement was:
Lean body mass: 173 pounds
Fat body mass: 36 pounds
Total body weight: 209
Body Fat %: 17.3

My second measurement after the paleo challenge was:
Lean body mass: 177
Fat body mass: 29
Total body weight: 206
Body fat % 14.4

My latest measurement is:
Lean body mass: 178
Fat body mass: 25
Total Body weight: 203
Body fat % 12.8

Joel, do not worry I am still an adult male as defined by 70sbig.com.  And, most importantly, I continue to increase my lean body mass while at the same time I lose fat body mass.  What am I doing?  I am eating big, and eating clean.  Take a look at this post.  And when in doubt, whip it out and eat more meat!

  1. You look very lean. Your back looks like railroad crossing signs (thru your tee shirt when you do squats). It shows. How do you feel?

  2. That's some great results and a total testament to a strict Paleo approach. Awesome!

    It totally makes me rethink the reduced caloric intake position I've been taking. I'm down about 6 scale pounds for the challenge so far, but have no idea what the shift in lbm is.

    Your lbm gains are exactly what I'm looking for.

  5. The time frame is from the first Paleo challenge around September to December fourth.

  9. Doogie, I know its not part of the basic guidelines, but it was something I implemented earlier for faster leaning out, based on information from Robb Wolf's seminar. Lately, I've been torn between that, and how effective it was, and something closer to your approach.
