Day 9 and I feel good.
Today's eating went really well. For breakfast I had the three paleo meatballs (my last) and half an avocado, as a snack I had some pistachio's. For lunch I went to Flat Top Grill for a friend's birthday and had the best lunch for 8.99. I had chicken with lot's and lot's of veggies and you have the choice to mark your meal as gluten free and they cook your food on a separate grill. I used the ginger and garlic water with lot's of fresh cilantro and garlic to season it up. As a snack I had a green apple with my toasted hazelnut butter and prior to working out had a paleo banana walnut muffin.
WOD was great today, I was able to go prescribed and somehow my DU's picked up the pace and were good tonight. Not great but slowly getting better. I did 80 lbs and failed on a few of them, which slowed me down, but I got 3 rounds plus 5 PC, 10 box jumps and the bell rang. I was coughing for a while after the workout and clearing my throat a lot until recently, but now I feel back to normal.
For dinner I had a gluten/nitrate free pork sausage and some sauerkraut.
I agree with Yaz, I'm feeling good today. No cravings, headaches, being tired, etc. Someone earlier said that after Day 10 your body will start to feel better, but I believe it takes 30 full days of detox for your body to start performing at it's best, but I'm not 100%.
Looking good McDougald! Nice job on those DUs tonight!
ReplyDeleteThanks partner, I learn from working out with the best.
ReplyDeleteAshley,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if you posted the paleo meat ball recipe anywhere, but could I get that from you?
