I am not really interested in posting me in my skivvies online. Especially since Hipp is actually my name, and I am self involved enough to assume people google me constantly and may stumble upon this site. But in the interest of putting names with faces and folks getting to know who's who here is my face from the pictures last week. I am biting my lips because I'm very cold and was just rudely pinched all over. I am also without my glasses, which I usually wear.
I hate having my picture taken, picking the potatoes out of my borscht yesterday at lunch was annoying and stupid but not hard, and I was inspired by the Gang Round 1-ers so I started eating a la the whole30 rules before last sunday. My roommates (I have 3) are super supportive or could care less. One went so far as to say, "You're a lot less crazy since you started this weird diet thing" so its nice to know I'm not the only one who is psyched for the normalization of insulin levels.
To date I have missed two things (1) Convenience. I am sick and tired of prepping all my own meals. Sucks. (2) Gin. I never realized just how much I loved Gin until it went away.
But I did hit triple digits on yesterday's front squats so I'm counting that as BIG WIN, which feels awesome.
