This board has been quiet lately. I suspect it's because people have quit or are cheating and feel guilty posting. I'll be honest, this past week has been rough, I've dreamed of Reese's pb cups, gummy worms and donuts. I had the opportunity to go to L20 this past Sunday and all of you know how much I obsess over food and restaurants, but had to turn it down for now. I just can't let myself when I think we don't have that much longer to go through this. For me, it comes down to making a commitment and sticking to it. The other day, I was figuring out what I'll do with the money if I win (which I don't think I will) but if I do I'm going to buy myself something from lululemon and then buy the entire Gang some non-paleo treats.
So if you've fallen off the horse, get back on, come on we have less then two weeks and we can all finish strong. I want to hear how everyone is doing out there. What temptations do you have right now. After this, will you try and stick to paleo most of the week?
This challenge has taught me that there are some things I can cross off my "to eat" list and then there are some things that I will always miss:
ReplyDelete-Chocolate is a big thing... I really miss it.
-I think I will still stick to almond milk instead of going back to soy or dairy.
-I miss bread sometimes but not as much as I would have thought.
-Sweet potatoes and other squash have sated my appetite for potatoes. I used to crave french fries but I don't find myself really thinking about it.
-Oh, and cheese, I do miss some cheese...
I think it'll be wise to stick with paleo for the rest of the week after measurements and gradually introduce some non-paleo things to your system in moderation.
