I love lists, I make them at work, I make them for groceries and I'm enjoying the format on the board. So I'll follow in line like everyone else.
1. Still have not cheated food wise in my paleo adventures. The one and only cheat I had was Saturday night, after the OLY meet, I had one beer. Duh duh duh......and it was good. Damon also had a beer, oh yeah, but that has been his only cheat and he deserved it after busting his non-metcon ass in Colorado. I have to say, I don't think I've lost any weight, maybe a pound or two, I did weigh myself this weekend on the official scale at the meet. It was in kg, but if my math is right, I'm about 2 lbs down. My jeans are looser then they were and I don't feel gross anymore, so bonus on that.
2. When I was a little girl, I asked my parents to buy me a radio that went in the shower, because the shower was my opportunity to sing. Let's be honest, the shower was my little space to do my thing. I spent hours in there, and get your minds out of the toilet, I was a kid. I would just hang out and sing and dream of being Debbie. Lost in Your Eyes was my favorite and I'm not sure why I'm sharing this, but thanks for the video, brings back some great memories. "I don't mind not knowing, what I'm headed for. You can take me to the sky. It's like being lost in heaven, when I'm lost in your eyes." Not too sure if that's the lyrics, but it's what I sing in my head and I like it.
3. Dole sent me an awesome recipe for a Thai pumpkin coconut milk soup that I changed a little to make paleo.

I actually changed it a lot, I used coconut oil instead of butter and instead of the curry paste, I added 1/2 a teaspoon of each cumin, tumeric and cayanne pepper. I also fried some ginger, lemon grass, garlic, 1 serrano pepper and onion in the coconut oil, then added the pumpkin and spices, then the coconut milk and about a can and a half of water. I added some fresh cilantro and then ran it all through a cheese cloth before serving oh and some large shrimp. This was good, but it's spicy. I'm thinking it will be my breakfast for the next few days.
4. The new box is amazing. Today was my first day seeing it and it was like my first day of school. I rode my bike in and I was a little nervous. Where is the front door, can I bring my bike in, etc etc etc. Well, I figured it out and love it. Can't believe all that space is ours. The windows rock, the first platform rocks (it's mine, hands off), and the toilets rock.
5. Since I'm copying everyone's format, I will post my paleo video of the day. This is what will be in my head the next month training to be more awesome in life.

Rocky Mountian high.......
I'm going to Colorado this weekend to support my brother in the USAW/OLY meet. My mom is also coming out early tomorrow morning, so it will be nice to spend sometime with family as it's been a while since all three of us have been together.
My brother and I have both looked into Grass-fed options for dining and think we should have no problem in this arena as it's Colorado, land of beef.
Eating is still going strong. Today I had a banana with nut butter for breakfast and met my brother at Glenn's for lunch. I had the ciopino, which was filled to the brim with sturgeon and halibut and was really good. It was funny because a basket of crackers and garlic bread sat on our table, but it wasn't as hard as having bread on the table last week and not being able to eat. I actually enjoyed the challenge. Right now I'm having a bowl of strawberries and blackberries with some cold whipped coconut milk and a little cinnamon on top. It's pretty good and refreshing. Since WCCF is closed today, I am planning on going on a lengthy bike ride this evening to enjoy the nice weather. I was actually able to bike to WCCF the past two days and my bike riding is getting easier post WOD, could it be to eating paleo?
