Sugar - it's everywhere

Seriously? In everything? My sweet mother went out of her way to get some meat for me. I made the mistake of looking at the label. One out of four options all had sugar, corn syrup, or high fructose corn syrup. Really? Crazy.

Thankful my parents haven't given me too much of an issue. Except for frustrating dear old dad, who was making breakfast tacos - which I systematically rejected: sausage (with sugar) - nope; corn tortia - nope; cheese - nope; hot sauce (second ingredient, sugar and high fructose corn syrup) - nope. Had steamed vegetables and scrambled eggs instead.

Staying solid.

  1. Anja, I was trying to find some beef jerky that would be paleo-friendly while I was shoppimg for Thanksgiving but had no luck. Second ingredient was always some form of sugar. It's incredible isn't it? Leep it up! Congrats on not giving in to the breakfast delight that your dad was offering.
