OK - enough about last night. It is but a distant memory as I am back on track after a wonderful breakfast of sausage, eggs and almond bread.
By popular demand here is the cracker recipe. It really is delicious for anyone missing a crispy treat.
1 cup almond flour
1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
1 tsp olive oil
1 egg white
Good dash of salt
Dash of paprika
Pre-heat oven to 350. Place all ingredients in a bowl and combine well. Place mixture on a sheet of baking paper, and place another sheet on top. Roll mixture out into 3-4 mm thickness using a rolling pin. Score pastry with the back of a knife into individual square pieces. Carefully remove the baking paper from the top of the pastry, then holding the baking paper on the bottom, move onto oven proof baking tray. Place in oven for 15-20 minutes, or until slightly browned. Brush top with olive oil and sprinkle with some more salt. Let cool and then break crackers into individual pieces.
Yaz, post the almond bread recipe please, the loaf looks good.
ReplyDeleteThe bread is from elanaspantry.com. It is her original bread recipe (not the 2.0). I think I like it better than the 2.0. Here's the recipe...

You guys are amazing! I can't seem to get off the same menu... I have no job and I can't find the time to cook. I have no clue how you do it?
